First, this is NOT intended as any criticism of the current slate of Osceola writers. I enjoy reading all of their stuff, no complaints at all. (Just being greedy here.)
But Ira... he's in the Bill McGrotha pantheon of sportswriter gods, and no way Gene and that lesser TOS deserve that talent; we do.
Plus it would be bringing him home where he rightly belongs, since he spent so many years as Managing Editor and GM at the print Osceola.
Sure, he had his misstep or two, all humans do, but I'd say Ira consistently batted .750 or higher, with an unmatched slugging percentage.
Any prospect of an Ira 2022 holiday homecoming to add to the hoopla of the Noles' return to an upper tier bowl?
