No one wants to be "wrong" and looking foolish doing it. They also might lose what access they do have - so there's that.Both soccer and softball coaches keep things very very tight so not much gossip or discussion gets out. Case in point, softball has two top transfer targets in on visits and not one damn word leaks. Have no idea how visits really went or if we are even being considered, etc. And these internet web sites (all of them without exception) have no concept of actually breaking any news. First they’re afraid of upsetting the coaches (they shouldn’t be) and second, they just don’t know how to do it. Laughable that college coaches “close” scrimmages and the internet sites rarely have any contributions about what went on. Over 100 people are at these “closed” football scrimmages for example. Yet the sites don’t give you any real insight. Just the way it is now.
