I'll find an article for you, there were definitely young boys as well as girls and they were as young as 6 not just 16.
The two he was charged with (apparently there were over 400 victims, they only charger 14 which is one reason he was so eager to accept a plea deal) were over 16 but apparently he did it only to prove they weren't police officers then used them as a contact to get younger girls.
"Fogle reportedly told one victim via text message that he would “accept a 16-year-old girl,” but specified “the younger the girl the better.”
According to the documents, Fogle would have sex with the underage escorts to “insure they were not undercover police officers,” before asking them to connect him to other “minors as young as 14 and 15.”

Ok I found an article but it's on TMZ so....%*%* that place I'm not going to link it so people can clip on it. But I will cut and paste some contextual information from it so we can discuss.
"Up to now, the only information in the case was that he allegedly possessed child porn, but the case is far more serious. According to the complaint, between 2010 and 2013, Fogle traveled between Indiana and NYC to engage in sexual acts with minors. The complaint says Fogle paid for sex.
The complaint says in text messages with one of the 14 minor victims, Fogle said he would accept a 16-year-old girl while stating that "the younger the girl, the better."
The complaint says he asked some of the victims to send him pictures of themselves.
The complaint says the child porn authorities found photos and videos of boys and girls. It's unclear the gender of those with whom he had sex.
Part of the case involves images Fogle received from Russell Taylor, the head of Fogle's foundation. According to the complaint, Taylor sent Fogle photos and videos from hidden cameras in Taylor's house, featuring children as young as approximately 6."
So yeah...6 year olds.
I guess it took his wife by surprise. Imagine waking up to find out your spouse is a predator and has banged teenagers for years and may have even more explicit child porn on his computer. While raising his two children. Then discover that he's going to jail and big chunk of those millions that you saved is going to pay off the victims and there is no more income coming in. You are probably going from delux apartment in the sky to nothing.
I was reading up on FARK and came across another article someone linked to in the messageboard that they were using to show that the FBI knew about Jareds child porn ring for almost 8 years before he was finally taken down. But the article has more on his love of both small boys and girls.

According to this article, he even asked if he could install cameras in the bedrooms of the informant's young children.
