Spent some one on one time with him and have to say I came away quite impressed and happy that he is leading our program. It was a private reception in which he also gave a speech. He has energy, charisma and clearly has a plan and vision for our program. I believe good things are ahead of us...
Note: I asked him about the QB situation and his thoughts if Travis gets hurts. He feels very confident in Tate and feels he took a big step forward this spring. He also stated he looked at multiple QB's, in the portal, but does not feel he found a good fit. Especially given how happy he is with Tate and AJ. He made a point of saying it is not just talent, you have to evaluate. But, also how they fit into what you are doing as a program. We have witnessed, first hand, how talent with the wrong attitude affects the chemistry of the entire team...
