I really have not commented on them because honestly do not think it’s a big deal. If you think they are the only ones stealing signs - they are not. The big ten schools really don’t want that door opened because michigan probably has the goods on other teams.

The dumb thing about this entire thing is each school could hand over its entire play book to every team they play. These schools use a system called xo technology. They also use another system which you will see at nfl games. These systems have every play that Mike norvell or any other coach has run since they started calling plays. There is not a single formation, motion call or play call in general that these guys have not seen or have on film. That is why you hear coaches always say it’s about execution.

Teams not only scout opponents- they self scout. Back in 2013 when fsu played auburn in the title game - auburn had a package with a certain player in it. The kid lined up in the slot and ran the guy in motion. Pruitt put that formation into the xo system and realized that auburn handed the ball to that kid 90 percent of the time. Auburn realized this. Pruitt basically took the analytics and guessed that the certain player was getting the ball. Pruitt brought Jalen Ramsey near the line of scrimmage and was going to have him bring the guy in motion down….from auburn self scouting they decided to go play action and hit another guy down the seam where Ramsey was no longer there. Pruitt guessed the play right but so did auburn. Coaches on all teams use a system like xo and each coach has tendencies….the really good coaches have counters for each play. So while michigan May have been stealing signs it has very little or no effect on a game. These coaches know what each other is running 90 percent of the time…it’s the other ten percent that matters. Michigan is winning because they are just better than everyone else.
