I'm not an insider. But my opinion is this: Taggart has an 11 PM flight on a recruiting trip. Where might that recruiting trip be? Florida of all places. And can you imagine going out on the road recruiting in Florida with this situation unresolved. Seems to me Taggart might make FSU in Tallahassee the first stop on that trip. Then the deal gets finalized and he never ends up actually making any more recruiting visits in Florida as the Head Coach of the Oregon Ducks. It seems to me that is how this ends up playing out. Because there is no way Taggart can recruit effectively as Oregon's Head Coach until this is put to bed. And he can't really tell the media his first stop is Tallahassee either. Anyway, if this is the story and you expect DOT to confirm it in a nugget you are going to be very disappointed.
