Andy Staples just said that he "knows for a fact that several ACC programs have lawyers looking at ways to handle the GOR". But he had no specifics. And I doubt that this is shocking.
He also said that the current ACC GOR ends 14 years from today. "It's not sustainable" per Andy.
14 years ago the Aggies weren't in the SEC, SU and Pitt were not in the ACC, the ND deal with the ACC did not exist, Maryland was in the ACC, UL was in the Big East, Bobby was alive and coaching, Jameis was about to start high school, Nick Saban was coming off his first season at Alabama (7-6), Nebraska was still in the Big 12, the big 12 actually had 12 members, Barack Obama was running for President for the first time, it was three years before HBO broadcast the first Game of Thrones episode and only one year after the last episode of the Sopranos aired - Made in America - and its Cut to Black.
Sounds like unless something happens, we have a lot of living to do and a lot of experiences to enjoy before we get a new TV contract, like playing Syracuse 14 years in a row.
