The 2nd best home win my Freshman year (obviously, UF #1)
Pitt at FSU 1980
I remember a few things:
1. It was really muggy
2. The announcer kept poking fun of Dan Marino getting sacked and asking for the crowd to be quiet (i swear I recall something like, Mr Marino, someone found your car keys, or something to that effect, no one has confirmed this though)
3. Thunderfoot and SuperToe (Rohn Stark the punter and Bill Capece the FG kicker ) had probably the BEST special teams game for the program the entire decade. Capece's 5 FGs were a difference maker
4. Pitt was undefeated and that was their only loss that year
