After weeks of anticipation, the final day of Florida State football's 2022 season is upon us.

The Seminoles (9-3, 5-3 in ACC) take on Oklahoma (6-6, 3-6 in Big 12) Thursday in the Cheez-It Bowl at Orlando's Camping World Stadium (5:30 p.m. on ESPN). For FSU, it's a chance at the 25th 10-win season in program history and the first since 2016. For the Sooners, it's a chance to avoid the program's first losing season since 1998. FSU won the first-ever game between the programs in 1965, but has lost all six games since, trailing the all-time series 6-1.

OU will be without a number of important players as leading running back Eric Gray (1,366 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns this season), both starting offensive tackles Wayna Morris and Anton Harrison and defensive lineman Jalen Redmond (four sacks, 10 tackles for loss this season) have all opted out of the bowl game. Additionally, Oklahoma's second running back on the depth chart Marcus Major and starting center Andrew Raym are sidelined due to injuries. However, the Sooners will still present an offensive challenge for FSU's defense behind UCF transfer quarterback Dillan Gabriel (2,925 passing yards, 24 touchdowns to six interceptions this season) and wide receiver Marvin Mims (1,006 receiving yards, six touchdown catches this season) are both expected to play.

By comparison, FSU's roster is in very good shape. The Seminoles haven't had any significant opt-outs, with each of the players still debating their NFL Draft decisions in Orlando for this week's game. Additionally, a number of FSU players currently in the transfer portal including safety Sidney Williams, linebacker Amari Gainer and wide receiver Keyshawn Helton are with the team this week.

The combination of FSU being the better team this season and possessing the more intact roster entering the game has the Seminoles as somewhat significant 10-point favorites against the Sooners.

Follow along before for pregame updates as the Seminoles get ready and then in-game updates once the game gets underway from Orlando.
