This is an interesting article. One of the first players listed was chickilo. He has similar size and measurable as MEjr. They noted he wasn't very productive when they put him at 3-4 DE because he had two-gap responsibility. I know ME was on the higher side of that weight but maybe this explains his lack of production. Just in general i don't think our defense was designed for anyone to get stats or have production.
