Finding that I have more time on my hands, and I miss Boston radio, I find myself listening to Boston sports podcasts, along with Steve Czaban, Bill Burr and Dino Costa.

Who do you listen to, suggestions.

Listening to “Up and Vanished” right now.

“S-Town” is good
“Dirty John” is really good.

Comedy Bang Bang (but only if Paul F. Tompkins or Lauren Lapkus are on)
Spontaneation w/Paul F. Tompkins

I'm basically a Paul F. Tompkins fanboy.

Hardcore History
Unconquered
The Nolecast
Dave Ramsey
Freakonomics
The John Batchelor Show
Catholic Stuff You Should Know

I really enjoy The Nolecast.
How I Built This on NPR is really good. Nothing political. Just interesting stories on how the founders of major companies came up with their ideas and built their businesses.

Wake up Warchant
Nolecast
Unconquered
Ben Shapiro
Freakanomics
Sleep with Me

This last one is hilariously good at helping you fall asleep. The guy tells you a "bedtime story" and mumbles and meanders so much you get bored and ZZZZZZ. I have never been able to actually listen to the story. I'm usually asleep by the time he's done with the introduction. Basically the guy's job is to bore you into falling asleep and he's really good at it.

I enjoyed Slow Burn a lot. It's an eight-part series about Watergate. Really interesting. And episodes aren't crazy long either. Like 28 minutes or so.
Atlanta Monster is really good, too. It's a bit sensational at times, but it's a pretty fascinating look at one of the worst serial killers in our history - and it makes you question whether Wayne Williams is guilty at all. I was a young boy living in Atlanta at the time he was arrested, so it's particularly interesting to me.

Also. Seminole Headlines and Wake Up Warchant are terrific. Obviously.

I really enjoyed Revisionist History by Malcolm Gladwell.

Have to look into this one.

I also listen to:
Joe Rogan Experience
Freakanomics
Stuff you should know - I was interested in it, and have tried a couple. The subject matter seems to be good, but the delivery isn't very quality and polished. On the fence about keeping a hohum on my list considering how limited I am with time.

There are a couple I think I want to add in. Ted talks. I also miss having new science details in my life, so will look for something in this arena. I also enjoy the business of business so want to find something in that area.

Didn't we have this thread a couple months ago?

Hardcore History - the three part King of Kings was a commitment but an incredible narrative about the rise and fall of the Persian empire.
A Taste of the Past - cooking-centric pod cast.

30 for 30 podcasts are pretty good. Several on there that are not on TV. Queen of something about a famous card player and a Chinese chick cheating at casinos was good. The one on Madden video game.

Good post. I'm going to check out several of the ones listed already.

That was a great podcast.
The UFC one was good too.

I'm fighting my way thru part 1 right now. Kind of weird that I'm picturing the movie 300 while he's talking about it.

The battle of Thermopylae is discussed, I believe, in part 3. But he references it throughout. If you can't tell, he is a huge Alexander the Great fan. I am working through Blueprint for Armageddon.

I actually took a couple of days off and went to his trial. Those 2 days convinced me he's no more guilty than I am.
