Ran into Will Cowen with Rising Spear the other day and he shared some news that they had arranged an NIL deal for Baba Miller while he was in Spain, competing for their U19 national team. I've asked him to share some thoughts on this particular deal as it opens doors for players like Baba as well as FSU soccer, golf, tennis, volleyball, track and field athletes, etc.

"Most international students regardless of athletic status come to the US in F1 visas. This visa does not allow for active income within the country which has made NIL virtually impossible for the first two years of existence in the NCAA.

"Through the diligent work of our team of legal experts we were able to execute our first international NiL deal with Baba Miller on his recent trip to Spain. Baba was able to host a community service event with 'Cruza Roja,' the Red Cross of Spain, where he spent the day working with hundreds of volunteers and providing youth basketball instruction."
