I know nothing about the new guy that was promoted to be our new qb coach. He might be the next best thing and I hope he is. However I firmly believe that in order to attract the best qb talent, you have to have a proven qb coach. In my opinion the success of your team starts with the qb (just my opinion). Is there a reason we don’t go after Weinke? Maybe even make him assistant OC. Maybe I’m going down a rabbit hole with this, but it just seems like a logical choice.
