Has anyone seen the video of NASCAR driver Ross Chastain passing Denny Hamlin on the last lap at Martinsville for a spot in the championship round of the playoffs? First of all, it’s a short track, so everyone in the turns are on the brakes (not just lifting off gas) except Ross Chastain. Remember when playing the video game back in the day when you could slam the wall and still pass everyone in front of you? That’s exactly what happens—he enters the turn in the gas at 120 mph when everyone else is going 60ish, his car slams the wall and inexplicably his tires don’t bust and he stays in the gas, and rides the car against the wall across the finish line to the championship round. Those last 18 seconds changed that young man’s life forever. Crazy.

That was unbelievable. Glad to see I'm not the only one here following NASCAR.
