We did not play a traditional Spring Game format this year. I really did not like it. However, we still may not have the quality depth to play a traditional Garnet and Gold Spring game.
There were interesting Spring Games yesterday. Ole Miss and LSU went traditional.
Penn State proceeded like us and did situational.
USC's Spring Game peaked my interest. They played offense versus defense the entire game and gave the defense a 21-0 lead to start. USC's offense led mostly by Caleb Williams won 34-27. That format intrigued me and I liked it.
