Students are not sitting social distanced

Remember:

FSU announced new COVID testing numbers at Board of Trustees meeting today.

From Sept. 2-8, they conducted 3,406 tests with 691 positives. That's just over 20%, which is obviously very high and they're working to get it down. But also noted that they know of no hospitalizations.

Theyre 18 year olds. Its a cold. As long as they got masks on so what. Eventually were gonna have to get back to life here folks.
You’re missing the point....if FSU has a big COVID outbreak on campus, we’re going to end up cancelling games. See VT. You can’t expect kids to keep masks on the entire game (or at all) so you space them out to mitigate the possible exposure. It’s the big picture that people miss when they downplay safety measures. Just do the right thing and we SHOULD BE able to have a full season.

I think what @northvanole is getting at is that regardless of how bad it may or may not be... if we don’t follow protocols that supposedly lessen the spread... the season will be over before game 3. If fsu has a massive outbreak, the players won’t be exempt from getting it and there goes the season.

Shouldn’t restrict attendance based on what we see today.

Wow someone with a bit of brain function on here. Why do some jump so quick to make it political and can't see the big picture?

I look at people wearing masks the same way OP looks at people not wearing them. Here we are... What are you going to do about it? Maybe you can go to the game and start shaming them... That usually has a net positive effect.

Spot on. We’re all Nole family but my God the level of purposeful ignorance from so many people on this topic is astounding.

My sister is a sophomore with a 103 fever right now because she thought the same stupid bs.

Your missing the point.......they aren't going to do what you want them to do......talked to my son at U of Utah and after hemming and hawing he admitted they aren't at Utah either. They aren't anyplace. Just not going to happen. 50,000 positive students and no hospitalizations yet.

Pictures of fans not following rules may well lead to FSU banning fans from games. Hope not,..

Hospitalizations and how serious you think it is or isn’t is completely irrelevant. The ticker just put a bunch of info along the bottom of the screen talking about the possibility of the season getting postponed. Schools have major outbreaks and it gets into the teams and enough teams start postponing games and you’ll see the season go bye bye.... hospitalizations or not.

This really depends on if the decision is made using science or if it is made using politics.
