...the Lane Fenner catch to beat uf in 1966. Hard to believe it's been so long.
It's not much, but here's a little vid I put together. It contains the only video clip and still shots I've ever seen of the catch. The footage is from the CBS intro to the 2003 FSU/uf game (which tells me the full game footage is archived somewhere).
Allegedly there is another video from a different angle proving the pass was incomplete. The official who called it incomplete claimed to have seen it and is proof he made the right call and many gator fans on the smack board have said the same, some even claiming they've seen that footage yet none have ever been able to present it. If anyone has any additional footage of that play or game, I'd love to see it.
Personally, I believe such film does not exist and that if there was such a film of indisputable evidence, the gators would have released it years ago to shut us up about this, but they haven't.
