Obviously going to the BIG or SEC would be amazing in so many ways.
But when people say the expenses would be so much higher with more northern schools (and now west coast additions USC and UCLA) I thought about the proximity to other ACC schools and I feel this difference is less than what is being assumed.
Take our main sports football, basketball and baseball. When they travel to NC State, Miami, Wake, Syracuse and BC it’s a plane ride, busses and hotel rooms. What’s the real difference between flying to North Carolina and Pennsylvania? There’s a difference but I definitely don’t think it’s anything major.
Plus the additional 80-150 million more dollars per year and no ACC refs makes up for the additional expenses.
