Too many people on here are so certain in him in one direction or the other. The fact that there were threads on here last week about him being poached and needing to give him a raise and extension was comical. No matter how bad the situation was he took over starting 8-13 and going 0 for 2 on bowl games doesn’t deserve that type of talk. But on the flip side the fans saying fire him are even more ridiculous.
We are trending in the right direction and are better off now than when he took over. The fact that we finished 5-7 with this roster after starting 0-4 shows the growth. Plus he can recruit and once he gets his actual players in here we will be much better off.
He hasn’t proven to be the right guy yet but I’m still on the Norvell train as it being a good hire. But the honeymoon phase is now over after this year. Have to have a winning season next year and I think we will. But rebuilding sure isn’t fun as a fan.
