3:15 p.m. update - There's been a 180 in the past few hours. Apparently there was some miscommunication, or lack of communication, between Jordan Travis and Willie Taggart so he assumed that FSU had cooled on him. However, once word of this got back to Taggart the two sides were able to talk things over and now it looks like Travis will be transferring to FSU.
Sorry for the back and forth on this situation but we are just relaying what we are hearing from the Travis' camp. A few hours ago, they were convinced that FSU had moved on and were looking at other options. But that has changed.
We will continue to keep you updated on this situation. Hopefully there won't be any more drama and this will become official very soon.

It's been widely reported that it was likely that Louisville QB Jordan Travis would be transferring to Florida State. In fact, he recently submitted paperwork to FSU to make that happen.
However, we are hearing there's been a lack of communication from Willie Taggart and his staff the past couple days. As such, the feeling now is that the transfer won't happen and that Travis will likely end up at FAU. Not saying a transfer is completely dead but the trend is against it.
Of course, the happenings with Travis mean the coaching staff has probably found another transfer to target. I get there are some high profile names being thrown around like Jalen Hurts and Justin Fields. Heard some unconfirmed rumblings about Hurts but nothing yet about Fields. There are probably other names out there and we'll continue to work to come up a more complete list.
If you are looking at recruiting, there are several QB prospects being targeted by FSU for the 2019 class.
