Of all the crap you see on-line this was massively painful and just wrong. As someone said if your son is involved with this drill (or similar) get them the hell out of the league ASAP.

I'm enjoying the fact that Newsweek quoted 3YearLetterman in their story as an actual source.

"As a youth football coaching legend," they wrote, "I encourage parents to have their kids do similar drills at much younger ages than this to ensure they are mentally ready. Those two kids learned more in this 5-second drill than they ever will in a full school year."

I have been coaching high school for ten years and was a college GA. These dudes have no business coaching kids. The fact that they all sat there and laughed and said "you good" just made it worse. I have two boys and they won't play until middle school so some idiot doesn't try to teach them the "mans game" and mash potato brains when they're 6-7 years old.

Hopefully those coaches are fired...they are clearly trash and should be nowhere near kids.
