After months of reading complaints of how far the Noles have fallen or how bad we are, how our future is doomed - even reports comparing FSU brand value to NC State, I am compelled to present another perspective. One that focuses on brand valuation data - the type of data the networks will use in influencing which teams will be invited to be members of the inevitable college football super conference.

My perspective is based on the following three clickable links:

While the data in these links is not “peer-reviewed,” it is presented as factual and referenced in each online article.

Collectively, this data demonstrates (evidences) that FSU Football is a national attraction and a Top 20 brand in terms of marketability and viewership - and more importantly a brand the networks can capitalize on regarding advertising rates. This capitalization is ALL that matters in terms of the Noles being chosen for the Superconference.

Again, all that matters is how much money can the networks make off of FSU matchups - the data says we are a top draw.

The above links potentially answer the following questions:
a) Is FSU football a financial heavyweight?
b) Will FSU be invited to join the SuperConference?
c) What about the GOR boat anchor?
d) What about the requirement for agreement among a quorum of Tobacco Road teams to allow FSU out of the hopeless ACC?
e) and, the many other questions posted through these forums - all all legally and common sense valid questions.

The answer to all of those questions is $billions.

The superconference upfront revenue will invalidate (payoff) all contract termination concerns all legal concerns (out-of-court settlements - more payoffs) and deposit an NFL-lite on us that the power players will be unable to refuse.
