I've been watching the young qbs to see how Winston is progressing as a player. He has far less weapons around him and far more responsibility than any young qb outside of Andrew Luck.

Mariota and Prescott are game managers compared to Winston. Winston makes tougher throws in one game than these guys do in several games. Dallas and Tenn are both top 3 in rushing offenses. Both have good offensive lines. Dallas has an incredibly stacked offense with players at WR, RB, TE, and arguably the best line in the country. Same goes for the Raiders. Tons of weapons on that offense.

What Winston is doing is impressive. That offense around him isn't good at all. Tampa Bay's line is roughly average to below average. No where near what Tenn, Dallas, and Oakland have. They are literally playing guys off the street at rb and wr. Doug Martin has been useless this year. Vincent Jackson's career is over. Evans is a damn good player, the only one on that offense other than Winston himself. Furthermore, Winston is routinely asked to pick up 3rd downs on tough throws. Winston and Evans are the offense in Tampa.

Brate is coming along nicely, but yes, he's definitely carrying a heavier load.

Have said it all year Jameis needs more weapons someone who can run an play opposite of Evans.
