He was at the FSU-ND game! I was in Section 9 and he was to my left...either Sec 9 or 10, near the front row.

Anyone know "Marlins Man" (World Series dude) from FSU games?
The guy sitting behind home plate for every World Series game is an FSU grad and huge fan (he was apparently at the ND game this past Saturday night.) Anyone recognize him?

I saw him walking up the steps and I thought it was weird that he had on full Marlins regalia. He must have some serious cash to be jet-setting to all of the WS games and sitting first row behind home plate for all of the games. I need to befriend him at the Virginia game!

So Saturday he was in Doak, Tuesday and Wednesday he was behind home plate in Kansas City and tonight he was behind home plate in San Fran. Not a bad week.

I actually know him personally. Met him at a Marlins game when I was younger with my parents in the late 90s and kept in contact as a reference.
He's a worker compensation attorney in Miami with tons of cash to spend. Not a bad life he lives

Saw him in Section 8 Row 2 prior to the Notre Dame game. I too thought it was weird that a guy was decked out in bright orange Marlins gear and referred to him as that dude that wears a team who is not participating in the game's gear.
I did not realize he was a pseudo celebrity.
