I would think someone who posts on this virus would be somewhat informed. I was curious when there was a dispute about the counting of Covid related deaths what the real numbers were. I decided to see if I could find out if more people then average were dying since Covid. That is when I found out about the excess death statistic. This was probably about 4 months ago. There is a chart on the attached link that shows weekly deaths as related to an average of the last 5 years. Take it for what it is worth.
