The problem is they didn’t do it correctly. They need to go after players right out of high school and compete directly with college football. Become an unofficial true minor league to the NFL. Athletes out of high school who have no interest in a college education can go the XFL instead and make money and seek all the endorsement deals they want. And colleges can get back to having true student athletes again. XFL needs to be an alternative to college football, not the NFL.

I wouldn't sell the Rock and his group short. That man is a hard worker and does a great job with everything he touches. Its a steal for him. He is going to make much more than that with his DC contract alone.

You will have a problem with that when we can’t out bid 20-30 schools with more boosters and even more business owners willing to dump on kids to keep them from the XFL. It’s bad for college football! Have you watched Ivy League football? Sure it’s great for what it is, but you obviously would rather watch the big boys play.

This was a far better product than it's predecessor. Some games were actually entertaining.
