My Dad graduated from FSU... he passed away 19 months ago but he created a whole bunch of Nole fans before he passed this earth as a diehard Nole!

As we near football season, I know he’s getting ready for the season. Just wanted to say how much I miss you! It’s so hard to watch FSU football without you. I miss our calls during, after and early Sunday morning to discuss the good, bad and ugly!! I’m trying my best to carry on the tradition as all 4 of my boys are diehard Nole fans too!!! We did celebrate 3 National Championships together and that will never be taken away!!

Love and Miss you Dad!

That is a heck of a tribute and know your dad is smiling right now. I’m 55 years old and hope and pray that I get another 30 years on earth with decent health but when I’m gone I hope my son and daughter feel the same way that you do.That would make me one lucky man.

Go Noles !

Thank you for sharing that with us.
I can't think of a nicer way to tell your dad how you feel.

Sounds like a great Dad! Wish I had that same relationship with mine. I’m breaking the cycle though and making the most of every moment with my own son.

What a wonderful tribute from a son to his Dad. My grown children still miss their Dad after all these years and wish so much he was still around to share milestones in their lives.
Treasure your memories!

I graduated in April of 1967. Sorry for your loss. I have been able to make several trips to Tally with my Son and Grandson---serious Nole fans. Have loved and cherish every moment.

Thanks for the kind words. Though I will always miss that phone call, i know he's watching. I do get to continue this with my boys though! So much more I could share but everyone should treasure their time with their family cause it ends way too soon. Let's Go Noles!!! I

That is so awesome that you were that close to your dad. Be thankful for that.

Now, forgive me but when I see "52" in a title of a thread my mind immediately goes to:
