2017 will be the 55th season for the FSU Sod Cemetery. Against the crowd, against the odds and on the road. This week, for the 54th time, the FSU football team met to hear the story of the legendary 1962 first Sod Win at Georgia and their unique tradition. Seminoles have brought home the Victory Sod 103 times, including the 31-30 Orange Bowl win last January.
A wonderful new website has been created which has a photo of each Sod Victory Marker and a link to both a game summary and game statistics for each Sod Win. It is a fascinating walk through some of the greatest games in Seminoles football history and it is available for you now.
