I'm slowly morphing into a Southerner. Heat doesn't bother me, friends say I don't talk as fast & am more polite plus BBQ/hush puppies have become a favorite of mine. The transition from rude NY'er to southern gentlemen is occurring.

One trip to NYC & I'll be elbowing people off sidewalks.

It's been almost 100 here in Jax all week. I love the summer but it is not supposed to be this hot in June. It's too hot to even go to the beach.

it was so hot in Tampa the last few day - literally thought I might croak playing tennis in the afternoon. Today at lunch I kept looking down at the blacktop to see it if was melting.

Buffalo native living in Atlanta. I don't mind the heat all that much, but I don't like it. I'd be more than happy if the temperature never topped 80.

But whenever it gets too damn hot, I just repeat to myself:

"You don't have to shovel this sunshine.
You don't have to shovel this sunshine.
You don't have to shovel this sunshine."
