There's been chatter for several days that linebacker Sh'Mar Kilby-Lane was no longer part of the team and we were finally able to confirm his departure with a source inside the football program.
We also learned that redshirt senior tight end Jeremy Kerr will also no longer be part of the team. We were informed that he will be receiving a medical hardship.
Last week, we reported that Keith Bryant had been off the team for a while. Some are better at counting up all the scholarship numbers but this should get FSU at or within one of 85 the limit. Keep in mind that the plan is for Deonte Sheffield to be blueshirt (enroll after the first day of classes so his scholarship won't count until next spring). So it's my understanding that he won't count against the 85 limit.
