In a profanity laced rant you can hear Assistant District Attorney Jody Warner berating Uber Driver Shaun Platt.

"Oh My God. You are an idiot. You are a legitimate retard. What a joke."

Platt told Dallas police Warner appeared intoxicated when he picked her up at a Dallas bar Saturday night.

Yeah, she looks about 145 pounds of crazy. Russ would approve.

I'm sure there are more than a few firms in the Dallas/Ft Worth area that could subscribe to "any publicity is good publicity" philosophy and bring her on... so to speak.

Good on the driver for making the recording and getting it out there.

Times have changed, the prevalence of cameras mean you're now more accountable for your actions than ever before. Your behavior (good or bad) can be captured at anytime and it's common sense to act accordingly.

To the extent that this tech-enabled accountability fosters better behavior, this is a good thing (privacy implications aside).

Clearly no one is perfect and we all have moments we're not proud of, but the margin for error has been reduced, and not knowing is no excuse for verbally or physically abusing another human.

As for the disgraced ADA, she'll land on her feet somewhere after a short media tour of mea culpas, just as the medical resident from scum did a couple years ago. Lucky for her, we have short memories.

As an aside, GMA seems to be the go-to destination for discussing poor behavior caught on tape. They got the interview with this guy, had the miami med resident exclusive, and had DeAndre Johnson and his mom on after the tape of him hitting that girl at the bar came out.

Odd niche, but someone's gotta fill it.

Really...where did she end up? I'd have thought she sabotaged her medical career for good.

I think she wound up finishing up the remaining year of her residency or fellowship at another med school and then got a job at a hospital or practice. We have some friends in common but I haven't really paid attention other than overhearing things.

She photographs well. Also thought it was amusing they kept showing his head shot, is he trying to be a model? She sure played the possible victim card during the presser, "but we will never know". She is balling because she lost her job and embarrassment, not because any sense of guilt. No sympathy.

She was tried and found guilty in the court of public opinion. No doubt she will land somewhere if she has a modicum of talent, her transgressions were pretty minor compared to plenty of other people's actions.
