I haven't broken it down by conference yet but here's the bios of the committee members, chaired by Boo Corrigan, who got his start in athleitics administration here at FSU in the early 1990s. Corrigan's father, Gene Corrigan, was the ACC Conference Commissioner and the man who recruited FSU into the ACC.

Mitch Barnhart - Athletic Director University of Kentucky, Chairman of the SEC Athletics Directors in 2017. Athletics Director Oregon State (1998-2002). Graduate from the University of Ottawa, Kansas (1981), Master’s in Sports Administration, Ohio University (1982).
Boo Corrigan – Director of Athletics NC State, Director of Athletics Army West Point (2011-2019), Athletics Director of the Year by NACDA in 2017. Was an assistant director of Marketing at Florida State. Graduate of Notre Dame (1990), Master’s degree Virginia Commonwealth (2013).
Chet Gladchuk – Director of Athletics U S. Naval Academy. NCAA Leadership Council. NACDA Executive Committee, John L Toner Award from the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame (2016) to athletic director who has demonstrated superior administrative abilities and dedication to college athletics. Bachelor’s degree Boston College (1973).
Jim Grobe – Retired head coach from Baylor, Ohio University and Wake Forest, where he received 2006 Coach of the Year by the AP, Sporting News, Bobby Dodd Coach of Year. MAC Coach of Year at Ohio in 1996. Played football at University of Virgina. Bachelor’s (1975) and Master’s UVa (1978).
Mark Harlan – Athletic Director, University of Utah. NACDA Athletic Director of the Year in 2023, numerous NCAA committees including Division 1 Competition Oversite Committee. Director of Athetics at University of South Florida (2014-18). Bachelor’s (1992) and Master’s (1995) degrees from University of Arizona.
Warde Manuel – Director of Athletics University of Michigan. NACDA Under Armour Athletic Director of Year (2015). Director of Athletics at UConn (2012-16). Director of Athletics SUNY (2005-12). Also served at Georgia Tech and Michigan. Bachelor’s University of Michigan (1990), Master’s (1993), MBA (2005).
David Sayler – Director of Athletics Miami University (Ohio).Athletic Director South Dakota (2010-13). Bachelor’s Ohio Wesleyan (1991).
Will Shields – Owner of a gymnasium and sports facility in Overland Park, Kansas. Consensus All American and 1992 Outland Trophy winner. College Football Hall of Fame (2011). Walter Camp All Century Team in 1999. Third round selection played 231 consecutive games for KC Chiefs. Walter Payton Man of the Year for “Will to Succeed” Foundation which has helped 100,000 individuals. Pro Football Hall of Fame 2015.
Gene Taylor – Director of Athletics, Kansas State. Deputy Athletics Director, Iowa (2014-17), Director of Athletics, North Dakota State (2001-14). Bachelor’s Arizona State. Master’s St Thomas University.
Joe Taylor – VP for Athletics Virginia Union University. Head coach FAMU (2008-12), Hampton (1992-2007), Virgini Union University (1984-1991), Howard University (1983). College Football hall of Fame (2019) and Black College Football Hall of Fame (2020). Four Black College National Championship. President of the American Football Coaches Association. Bachelor’s from Western Illinois (1972).
Rod West – Group President, Utility Operations for Entergy Corporation. Lettered three years as a tight end at Notre Dame on the 1988 National Championship team. Past president of the Allstate Sugar Bowl. Board of Directors of the National Football Foundation. Served 10 years on ND Board of Trustees (2008-19), 12 years on LSU System Board of Supervisors, including chairperson from 2006-07 and three years on the Board of Xavier University of Louisiana. Backelor’s in mathematics Notre Dame (1990), Juris Doctor, Tulane 1993, MBA Tulane (2005).
Kelly Whiteside – Professor Montclair State University, 14 years at USA Toay as nationl college football writer. Covered seven Olympic Games, nine World Cups as well as NFL, NBA MLB, NHL and multiple college sports. First female president of the Football Writer’s Association. Former reporter at Newsday and staff writer at Sports Illustrated. Her work frequently appears in the New York Times. Bachelor’s degree Rutgers and Master’s Columbia.
