We all knew we weren’t playing for a natty or ACC championship game this year. Obviously a 0-2 start is not what we envisioned and Jax State loss is flat out embarrassing. That being said we could also be 2-0 right now. We are 0-0 in the ACC and we still have a lot of winnable games left on the schedule. The defense has certainly improved and the offense has potential. As bad of a loss as Jax State was…I much rather have wins against the likes of Wake, Louisville, BC, Syracuse, UNC, Miami, & NC State. Those are are games we could find a way to win. Like what’s the point of beating Jax State and then losing to all those guys? I’d feel much better about this program winning ACC games and having a fluke loss to Jax State. As bad of a loss as it was….we really don’t gain anything with a win either….time to buckle up the chin straps and respond.
