FSU sports information:

Florida State women’s basketball players Ta’Niya Latson, Makayla Timpson and O’Mariah Gordon were selected to the 2025 All-ACC First Team on Tuesday.

Timpson was also chosen for the All-Defensive Team for the third time in her career, finishing second in voting.

It was the first time since 2013 three Seminoles were selected to the First Team and second in program history. FSU is one of two teams nationally with three players averaging above 16.0 points per game and the trio is the highest scoring in the nation at 59.4 points per game. All three players led an offense that produced seven 100-point games, setting an FSU record.

Latson earns her third All-ACC First Team selection. As the nation’s leading scorer at 25.4 points per game, Latson leads the highest-scoring offense in the country at 88.2 points per game.

Latson became the fastest to score 2,000 points in Florida State basketball history after posting 23 points against No. 3 Notre Dame and now has 2,024 for her career. She became the third player in ACC history to hit 2,000 points in the first three seasons, and first since Alaina Beard of Duke (2000-04).

The Miami native was the ACC Player of the Week five times this season and took home the Associated Press Player of the Week twice. She was also named the Ann Meyers Drysdale Player of the Week twice.

This season, Latson established or tied career highs in points (40), assists (12), rebounds (11), field goals (18), free throws made (15) and three-pointers (5). Her 5-of-5 performance from three tied a school record as the Noles set a new program high 18 three-pointers made.

Latson is a finalist for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award and has been named to the Wooden, Wade and Naismith Trophy watch lists.

Timpson earned her second First Team nod, after averaging 17.7 points per game, 10.7 rebounds per game and 3.03 blocks per game.

Timpson led the league in blocks with 91 this season and in conference play with 50. She bested her own single season blocks record and has 278 for career, just 23 away from tying the program record. The Seminoles ranked ninth nationally in blocks per game (5.6), led by her efforts at 3.03, which lead the ACC.

This season, Timpson became the career leader in double-doubles and rebounds, passing Natasha Howard in both categories. Behind 15 double-doubles this season, Timpson has 46 for her career and 1,066 rebounds.

The Edison, Georgia, native secured ACC Player of the Week honors twice this season, and set career highs in points (38), rebounds (22), blocks (8), assists (4), steals (6), field goals (15), free throws (9) and three-pointers (1).

Gordon earns her first career All-ACC honor. This season, she averaged 16.3 points per game and ranked second in the league in assist/turnover ratio at 2.76 as the Noles were also second at 1.23 despite fast offensive play.

The Sarasota, Fla., native saw a career high, 34 points in the win at Miami, becoming the third Seminole this season to contribute a 30-point game.

In addition to points, Gordon added career highs in assists (10), steals (7) blocks (2), field goals (14), three-pointers 94) and free throws (8). She also secured her first career double-double in the win over Jacksonville.
