Especially for a Spring game when we were not familiar with so many numbers and new players, it is so frustrating to listen to announcers rambling on during play and not even attempting to identify playmakers. Obviously, they felt they had to keep up a running commentary even if they had nothing to say or had to repeat for the 100th time what they had previously said. It was hard to tell if this was a practice game for the football team or for the announcers.

They should at least pay attention to the field and tell viewers who the receiver was, who broke up that pass, who nearly had a sack, or even who the hell is at quarterback. In the third quarter a new quarterback went in and wasn't identified by the announcers until his fourth play. Is their job to call the game or just talk? We tuned in to see the scrimmage, not listen to this garbage.
