Just saw the clip of this incident. Interesting that the age-old rule that "officials are completely off-limits" is now under siege. It's just a matter of time before an all-out beat down takes place.

Times continue to change....

Can it be much longer before a player reacts with violence to being screamed at by a maniac like Swamp Donkey or Muschamp??

Quite a stretch for him to feel his life is in danger after a simple shove. Seems like maybe you have been duped by the media on what the Stand Your Ground law means. Now if a kid shoves him and they start charging at him continuous and say swinging their helmet at him, then he may be able to pull out a gun and shoot under stand your ground. However, he will probably still be charged with possessing a firearm on a school campus as most football fields I believe would still be considered school campus and be against the law.

I can't believe no coaches from the team of the offending player came out there to get his guys out of there. They all seemed to stand back and let the players sort things out.

We used that and nuts and bolts nuts and bolts we got screwed at a predominantly non black catholic school. But that was primarily at basketball games.
