"College freshmen offered chance to opt out of anti-stress program if they are too stressed: report"

""Florida State University’s Student Resilience Project, developed by the Institute for Family Violence Studies at the FSU College of Social Work, is a mandatory online program for over 6,000 incoming freshman and transfer students to “help students adjust to campus, improve mental health, increase resilience and reduce stress”.""

Headline is a bit misleading. You can opt-out if you suffered a recent trauma or are going through counseling already. That is quite different than opting out because you are too stressed. The dean needs to choose his words better if that is an accurate quote of what was said.

The only stress I had at FSU was the occasional bad football season, meaning we lost a game or two.
I remember those days...

Both my kids came in as transfers from the community college....wonder if it is offered to transfer students as well.
