Any kitchen fires? Uncomfortable debates? Flare-ups with the in-laws or whomever? Food underwhelming?

Come on, now, these things are rarely the utopian galas we like to portray. Ours was mild because wifey’s sister did not travel this year…sort of missed the drama, honestly. So let me live vicariously through others. 😀

Drove to the in-laws up north. Was interesting to see different stages of covid paralysis in each state on the drive. Felt like each state was in a different month of 2020 in Florida. Stopped in SC, NC, VA, PA before reaching her folks. Grocery store in her hometown felt like April 2020. Her and I were the only unmasked. We no longer own masks because we wont go anywhere that enforces a mask policy, or won’t stay if asked to leave.

We had a great day with friends. No drama. We didn’t get to spend time with in laws like we wanted to. They won’t be around us because we don’t isolate. That sucked.
