Apparently 49ers players want Ponder at QB

As a Niners fan, I agree. Cant be worse than Gabbert, and Kap has clearly lost credibility with his team. Ponder played very well in the preseason, granted that was mainly against backups. Put him in coach!

^^^This. In that offense, Ponder could do very well and even get a mini-resurrection in his career. We remember how well he did on the read option when Jimbo used it. And with those WRs, the short pass is the main staple and Ponder can do that better than Gabbert.
