Apparently SAO tried to enter fake twitter into Dalvin's case

Typical. One of the many reasons I despised dealing with that office. And not every prosecutor in the office would try that. But in a high profile case you'd think they would play by the rules and actually scrutinize and vet the evidence.

Gotta love Willie Meggs and his office. Harassing FSU football players and seeking headlines for many years.

Yep. Which made it all the harder to listen the last 21 months how TPD and Meggs were FSU minions.

For decades we have known that is not the case at all. If the media had bothered to do some simple research they would have easily found that out.

If the SAO is reaching for evidence like that, their case is looking awfully flimsy.

You would think Cook's attorney would love to present that as a false planted Twitter story. If the jury heard about the DA going that low the case would be all over. In fact, in EVERY city this case would have been dropped already, but not in Megg's county..

How can they be taken seriously?
How can you not take this man and his sidekicks seriously:

What's sad is that if/when Cook is found not guilty, espn/nytimes will spin this as "yet again, small town cops/da go easy on football star" -- when in fact, they're trying to pass of fake evidence as real in order to wrongfully (IMO) convict this young man.

FSU should go on the damn offensive. They won't, but it seems like Cook's lawyer likes being in the news and will use this ridiculous circumstance to further clear Cook's name (and get his name in the news - fine by me).

He also managed to sneak his daughter into the jury pool but thankfully the defense weeded her out.

Dude is scum and can not be trusted

It doesn't help when Safid Dean at the Democrat put up the headline in the first place (tweets it out, others such as SI follow suit, and Safid RT's it again today).

"New evidence against FSU RB Dalvin Cook will not be included in Monday's trial"

He knew the implication of what he posted and decided to throw it out there again.
