After reading some of spring questions what do you guys think
Between the major OL issues, Kelly's history of preparing our D, and no backup QB plan with a QB who got beat down in ways unseen before, what do you think the chances are that this team can play for NC this year?
Personally, I am very worried ab the OL and think this is our biggest obstacle for ship run. Followed by and relevant to our lack of QB depth. Frenchie got killed last year and cannot take a beating like that again. Very good chance our OL takes step back or stays the same which means we will most likely see a backup QB at some point in time. If that happens in any major game it could be bad.
Lastly, our D is loaded with talent on ridiculous level. Similar to our 14 D. We have seen some uninspired and very unprepared groups under CK. I do have some faith we are seeing some progression there but I still worry ab this a little. This group could be very very good or we could see a lot of same issues with tons of talent but lack of performance
Every other aspect of this team looks championship caliber.
Some aspects should be pure dominance
And 3 issues isn't overwhelming. Most every program has at least 3 issues/question marks going into a season.
So are these issues bigger than other programs? Do these issues prove to be bad enough to hold us back?
Or do you think this team is locked and loaded ready to roll into playoff?
