Just when I thought we could catch a breather after last year's madness, I thought perhaps everything would just die down and people would revert to hating us simply because we are GREAT

Now it seems like a double slam (or triple if you add the dog citation)

I live here in Los Angeles, and everyone I know is saying "hey whats up down there with your players". I mean folks at work, people in my neighborhood, casual friends etc.

And that's here in California - I cant imagine how much worse it is there in FL

I am trying to do the best I can to defend the program, point out that this is a nationwide epidemic (not just us), point out the numerous arrests of similar nature at other institutions, point to the bad seeds in the NFL, point out that I TRULY feel Jimbo is recruiting guys with good character (with perhaps some bad mistakes here and there), etc. but it just doesn't matter.

All people think is 1) Jameis was a misogynist rapist who got away with it, and now 2) we have two women beaters, 2b) one of whom is Michael-Vick like with dogs, and 3) the program is out of control and the coach should be fired and blah blah blah.

I'm disappointed at DJ, super disappointed in Dalvin, happy that Jimbo and Thrasher are saying the right things and holding folks accountable.

I am not sure how long it will take for us to recover from this PR nightmare, but we seem to have replaced the Miami of the 80's, Urban Meyers teams at UF, and Penn State Sandusky scandal as the most hated program in the country.

We are now the face of everything wrong with college football, and I cant do or say anything to make folks feel otherwise.

Thanks for listening I guess, I just wanted to vent.
