I was always a big winamp fan. I was disappointed when they died. I transferred the apk file from my old phone to my new one and have continued using it. Unfortunately, after the latest Android update, it doesn't work with current sound drivers near as well.

What apps/programs do you use for playing music stored locally on computers and devices?

I was wondering that too. Just got a new galaxy and it seems like the standard app to listen to music sucks.

I use Musixmatch after trying 3 or 4 different ones (Poweramp, BlackPlayer, et al.)........it also displays the lyrics as the song plays

Blackplayer's very good for rap, R&B, and the blues. It isn't worth a damn for oldies rock or country.

I agree, it had TOO much bass......I have great Bose speakers in my car, I don't need Bass bumped up that much

I had one of those. Replaced it with a Sony with a digital tuner, which I think I still have.I took it to games for several years.
