Where are you going to see them? Always a fun show and there’s a wonderful documentary about them on HBO right now.

Not to be that guy, but I enjoyed them more as a three piece (and then four piece) than I do in their current form.

They’re ok. Better than a lot of bands out there, but nowhere near the quality that their diehards espouse, IMO.

So I watched the documentary while having drink one. By drink 5 I was watching their concert on YouTube.

Agreed. What category of music do you think they fall into? I had this discussion with a friend. I say blue grass and he says country.

So my drunk purchase of 4 tickets to Avett Brothers wasn’t the worst decision I’ve ever made.

Due to the popularity of the documentary, the masters being that weekend, and the incredible venue it’s in.....each ticket is going for over $600

I paid 400 for all 4.

They are row 7, front and center ))

So let me get this straight. The tickets were going for $600 to see the Avett Brothers?! I still cannot believe they are going for $100 each. That's insane.

I saw them a few months ago in Clearwater. They are great. They're kind of hard to describe. They're not the greatest musicians, not the greatest singers, but something about them as a group works. I like it.

The House of Blues in Orlando is the best venue I've seen them.
Unfortunately, the last time I was there I got so hammered I don't remember anything past the third song.
