Well, drunk danc78 bought tickets last night. So I’ll know about the concert soon enough.
Where are you going to see them? Always a fun show and there’s a wonderful documentary about them on HBO right now.
Not to be that guy, but I enjoyed them more as a three piece (and then four piece) than I do in their current form.

Agreed. What category of music do you think they fall into? I had this discussion with a friend. I say blue grass and he says country.Nice to see a good band that jams out and not have a culture or back ground of heavy intoxication....at least based on the documentary it seems that way
So let me get this straight. The tickets were going for $600 to see the Avett Brothers?! I still cannot believe they are going for $100 each. That's insane. So my drunk purchase of 4 tickets to Avett Brothers wasn’t the worst decision I’ve ever made.
Due to the popularity of the documentary, the masters being that weekend, and the incredible venue it’s in.....each ticket is going for over $600
I paid 400 for all 4.
They are row 7, front and center ))
I saw them a few months ago in Clearwater. They are great. They're kind of hard to describe. They're not the greatest musicians, not the greatest singers, but something about them as a group works. I like it.They’re ok. Better than a lot of bands out there, but nowhere near the quality that their diehards espouse, IMO.
I give them a 7/10.
Don’t disagree.I saw them a few months ago in Clearwater. They are great. They're kind of hard to describe. They're not the greatest musicians, not the greatest singers, but something about them as a group works. I like it.

Just know a few people who won’t shut up about how they’re the greatest band ever. Drives me nuts. I’d probably like them more if not for my friends constantly trying to sell me on them so hard.
They are like the duck dynasty of jam bands.
I’m blown away they are much.
Saw John Mayer and the Grateful Dead last night...”Dead Heads”
Was pretty unbelievable.
I’m feeling like my young self again.
Seen them 5 times.
Clearwater 2x, USF, House of Blues 2X
The House of Blues in Orlando is the best venue I've seen them.
Unfortunately, the last time I was there I got so hammered I don't remember anything past the third song.
