I like a cheese that brings something extra to the party. Lately I've been using either taleggio or smoked Gruyere cheese with brie somewtimes in the mix. Other than cheese I only prefer sautéed mushrooms and that's it for my medium rare burger!

Mostly just prefer a burger with nothing on it but American cheese. It melts better than most cheeses.

At times I go with gorgonzola.

I’m surprised there’s not more cheddar responses. A really good cheddar on a burger is fantastic.

Gouda is good too. And Swiss.

Other toppings? Mushrooms, fried egg, bbq sauce, bacon. Avocado. A nice, light piece of lettuce.

Ima have to grill tomorrow now.

I had a burger last night that was enough to make MadCow proud.

Beef patty, pulled pork, bbq sauce, Guinness beer cheese sauce, fried jalapeños.

Can’t do something like that again for another few years

Wife doesn't eat beef so we've been experimenting with ground pork and adding either dried onion soup mix, onion-mushroom soup mix or dry ranch dressing. Toppings for me, simple slice of smoked provolone.

Traditional here - mix of ketchup and a little mayo, lettuce, tomato and cheese. I slice onion very thin and brown it up. No raw.
Occasionally will put blue cheese and bread and butter pickles on there.

this on burgers is money, add some Wrights thick cut bacon and its on:

The broken, runny yolk is the best condiment one can have on a burger.

Runny egg burgers are the best.

I love my eggs sandwiches the same way: yolk still a little runny on a crisply toasted Bay's English muffin and a 1/2 thick slice of Jimmy Deans(no Tennessee Pride crap) sausage, formed to the same size as the muffin, topped with cheddar cheese. Proteins to keep you full and your body running.

Traditional- prefer a slight crust on the burger, extra sharp cheddar cheese, a few strands of shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, bread and butter pickle chips, ketchup, mustard and a bit of mayo. Lastly, a slightly toasted bun.

Side question- anyone had the wagyu burgers? Thought about ordering some..worth it? that much difference?

For burger toppings. Sautéed shrooms, bacon, BBQ, lettuce, red onion and a strong cheese (blue / gorgonzola / smokey gruyere or other strong flavor).

I don't notice much of a difference in taste of Wagyu burgers compared to a good 80/20 mix but it's different for steaks where the Wagyu experience is worth the $plurge.

I took a girl out a couple times. Her being a vegetarian came up pretty quickly (as it does with "those people"). Decided that wasn't a life decision I could make and wished her the best.
Cool story.

Hey, you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?

It is so good. Had my first one tailgating at a Falcons game. We fried bacon and eggs on the weber. It was actually ground deer with hot bulk deer sausage mixed. Added some cracked pepper bacon on a Hawaiian sweet roll. So good I ate 2 and almost fell asleep I was so full during the game
