Best Golf Courses in Tallahassee

Going to try to get in 18 early before the Texas State game. Any recommendations? South wood looks good but not paying $70 to play an average course. Thanks for the feedback.

If you are looking for great golf in Tally, forget it. Southwood or Seminole are the best two by far. If you want really good courses, you have to go to St James Bay in Carrabelle or Kinderlou in Valdosta.
With that said, Southwood is a very enjoyable golf course. I don't think $70 is unreasonable for the course.

Typically very good. Some thin spots in a fairway or two but the tees and greens usually are in excellent shape

I've played both in the past month or so and no complaints about Southwood or Seminole. GolfNow has good pricing and Seminole sends out weekly emails with discounted rates. Capital City Country Club is a decent option as well, they've had lowered rates($30-$40) during the club house remodel and its public after 12:30(I think) on weekends.
