Theres a laundry list of Quasi-Christmas movies starting at the top at Die Hard but including Gremlins, Batman Returns, Home Alone, Edward Scissorhands, Rocky IV, Trading Places etc....

I haven’t watched Christmas Vacation in decades. Christmas Story is good to watch but the whole airing it literally all day is kinda dumb to me.

There is a side story to that. I forget the reason why, but Bowie refused to go on with Bing and sing the song that Bing was singing. For some reason he didn't like the song or something like that.

Anyway this all occurred just an hour or so before the show when Bowie made his displeasure known. A music arranger came to the rescue when he wrote a counterpoint line that Bowie approved of all within an hour and he went on to do what has become a memorable Christmas song clip.

I will second this as I added it to my Christmas movie rotation a few years ago. As a matter of fact, the Missus and I just finished watching it.

I have several but on of my top ones is “The Choke in Doak”. I count it as a Christmas movie since it was filmed between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

It has Santa- Bobby, the Grinch-Spurrier and Elf- Kanell.
