I have a commitment i cant get out of saturday morning, but i will have my phone is there any app out there that i can pick up Gene's call? Or will it be on the Espn radio app? Thanks in advance.

why won't it be on the watch app
Ive never used the watchespn app for just audio, plus why would you listen to the espn jabronis when you could listen to the best football announcer in the biz?

If I was somewhere away from the tv and had a good signal and power source, I would use watchespn to watch the game. If I was somewhere more remote or driving, I would use the sirius app or fsugameday app for the seminole radio broadcast.

I don't disagree with this....I would go Gene all day if I were going audio only. Matter of fact, I turned off the TV in the second half and listened to Gene instead while grilling outside. It was great!

I'd love to figure out a way to get the radio broadcast synced to the timing on the TV broadcast to watch simultaneously. I used to do this as a kid and through my teens and early college days before digital boxes/satellite creates a delay.

What kind of commitment is so important you can't get out of it, but not so important you can listen to a football game during it?

Tunein Radio. Just search FSU football and you can stream an audio broadcast.
FSU Gameday App is partnered with Tunein, plus you get social media and instant play by play and player stats.

Presumably you have a DVD...pause the game play until is syncs. It may not be perfect, but you can get it pretty close.

Is the basic Free version ok with this app or does it annoy you to hell to purchase the premium?

I don't think there is a premium version or in-app purchases. The feed is sponsored, so there will be adverts on the screen within the app when it's open.

there is a tunein radio pro for $9.99.

I thought you were asking about the Gameday app. I use tunein for a lot of other things, and the free version worked just fine. I think you need the premium for NFL games, though.
