Not at all surprised that the guy who loved the packaged, pre-cooked baby back ribs would love babyback rib flavored chips.

I think they only sell this brand at WalMarts in Florida.

Dollar Generals. Get it right...

My favourite large commercial chip I've had so far was the Maple Moose flavour of chips from Lays available only in Canada. It was a nice blend of beefy and gamey from the moose flavour (no joke it was dehydrated moose stock) and only a mild hint of maple. It was a great savory chip and my favourite of the "costumer contest" flavours regardless of what country you were in (this years Canadian best was bacon poutine but it was nowhere as good as maple moose). My favourite American chip is probably the Tom's Vinegar and Salt as it actually packs a sour punch unlike Lays and Utzes brand. (But my second favourite was Utz's Crab Chips.

Btw, I switched my iPhone to Limey English as I prefer it's turn by turn and Siri voice but now it's autocorrecting my American favorite to favourite and color to colour. %*%* stupid Limeys and your superfluous U's.

Btw 2. The best salty snack EVER was carried in Wawa's but I haven't seen them in about six months. It's Herr's Old Bay Cheese Curls. Cheese curls by themselves are quite tasty, add in Old Bay and it is amazing.

CMan, I do like those Herr's Rib flavoured chips quite a bit too. It's similar to the Lays Maple Moose in that it's slightly sweet but really savoury from the meat "stock" on it.

Wawa's carries most of the Herr and Utz products.

Yes. I think they're just a seasonal product though. I've seen them in regular, dark and maybe even White chocolate around Christmas time. Christmas was when everything gets coated in chocolate or white chocolate be it Oreos, candied orange peel or Lays potato chips. My grandmother did it at Christmastime 30 years ago. The do it yourself varieties are amazing. The purchased ones....eh they have %*%^y chocolate just like the now freely available Oreos. Both the chips and oreos are significantly better when made by you.

Utz with Chesapeake bay crab seasoning. Target in Tallahassee carried them for about a year, but seems to have stopped.

Yeah. Utz are good. See them up the east coast.

Good stuff. And yes WaWa's has a larger variety...

If you guys haven't tried this stuff your life is incomplete...

I vote for these also. the only place I've seen them in South Florida is at Laspadas subs. I've never had the voodo and gumbo though, I need to figure out where to get them.

Zaps are awesome, and they are only at Laspadas down here. The best pure chip I have ever had was New York Deli chips. Used to get them all the time in Jersey.

Have seen these around but never tried them ... until today. Not the best ever but very good...

I had the Zapps Voodoo and Crawtators when I stopped by Lespada's on my way home from Miami yesterday. Both chips were good and crispy, the Lespada's "Monster" was pretty awesome. It was a very, very solid cold cut sandwhich on nice fresh bread.

It's a place that if I lived around there it would be my sandwich shop of choice, but wouldn't make it way up there on my list of best sandwiches out there.
