I thought everyone in the locker room had their own private jet.
It perplexes me why anyone would ever do anything BUT google flights.
The ONLY reason not to us it, is if there is an error fare that got fixed, but is still cahe'd by orbitz or expedia, and they have to honor it.
I have never booked a flight off Kayak. It always takes me to the airline's website.
If it just takes you to the airline site to book, why not just go there in the first place?
Can you see seat availability on Google flights?
Good luck if you need to change a flight and book off Kayak or Travelocity.
It's my favorite of the Kayak commercials and as soon as I saw the thread I knew I was going to post the gif. I just looked for a Kayak related comment to reply to, so yes, you were.Am I the guy getting soaked by the cookie monster in this one?
Just from my recent experience,I have no idea how those orbitz type companies exist.
I usually use an aggregator like Kayak to find best prices, and then buy off the airline website. Also check with Orbitz and Expedia type websites to see if I can get a better rate. Allegiant works in rare cases.
I never book anything except directly from the company's website. Airfare, rental car, hotel etc. I use other sites to search for the best price, but I couldn't imagine trying to settle a dispute when booking through a third party website with no customer service. When booking a recent trip to Europe, I found google flights the easiest by far to compare prices and quickly see the price effect on changing dates.
